Pink Rain at God’s Glamorous Girls

There was Pink Rain in Baltimore last week, when God’s Glamorous Girls gathered at the Convention Center. Thousands of women came from all over for the conference hosted by DeeDee Freeman, who is the wife of Michael Freeman, pastor of the Spirit of Faith Christian Center. The 3-day conference, packed with speakers, preachers and singers, included Real Talk Kim, Pastor Sheryl Brady and Dr. R. A. Vernon as keynote speakers. Among the psalmists for the conference, attendees were blessed by Michelle Williams, Mary Mary and Tim Bowman, Jr. This year’s conference also included the Merge Symposium Tour and its roster of creative women. As a result attendees could sign up for the Merge Summit’s breakout sessions and master classes. On Thursday, the last day of the conference, DeeDee Freeman hosted a first lady and pastor’s wives luncheon at Brio Tuscan Grille. It was a sellout and I believe I speak for all the ladies present when I say we had a blast making new friends and seeing old ones. Before eating, DeeDee Freeman shared from her heart. She said that at this point in her life, her main desire is to help women live their dreams. She told us to call her anytime, “I am available, I want to come, share and talk to women and help them. I want to help you.” Dee Dee went on to say, “My husband and I want to help churches grow, we are not concerned about denominations, we want to encourage fellowship. If I can do anything to help you in your work call me. I’m Good and I want to spend my time sharing with others. I’m Good, I’m serious…I’m Good, My Good is Good.” Amen to that!
