Graduation Celebration Carcade March 83, 2020 Quarantime

Yesterday, with military precision my family queued up with other well-wishers to congratulate one of the 2020 graduates of University of Maryland Baltimore County. My nephew, Timothy Alphonso Carter graduated with an B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am a proud auntie.

you can see the line of cars, at this point Nephew Tim was trying to figure out, ‘What was happening !?!

& a Big Ups to his brother, Rev. Daniel N. Carter for making the trip to Herff Jones in Manassas, VA, to pick up the last remaining UMBC stole and robe for Tim, who missed the order deadline. Tim gave up the idea that he would need it when commencement activities were cancelled.

Timothy was surprised. His parents and brother pulled off a happy time for all. One of the highlights for me was seeing Dr. Elizabeth Adams in the procession of cars. She served as the chairperson of the New Shiloh Baptist Church Deacon Board for 22 years, and she recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

I am grateful for something to celebrate, God is Good
